One road. One laptop. Two chairs. Two bodies. Two of 7.951 billion. Many numbers, many worries, many thoughts. Interrogating the abject tensions between hope and precarity, Road Moving is an intermedial, experimental questioning of how we continue through a world constantly on the brink. Performed by two audience participants who have never seen the work, we explore together how we navigate continuing cycles, finding movement in the present and falling through towards a better future.
The first development of this work was staged at The Blue Room Theatre as part of TILT 2024.
