We ask, what was here before?

Green squares and white walls. Fences, rose bushes and flag poles. We’ve read the signs and understood the codes of conduct, but we’re unsure if they still apply. As the sun goes down on Inglewood Bowls Club, you are invited to spend an evening there with us. Tonight’s entertainment will be the movement and sounds of our bodies under the floodlights. Nervous systems flickering with pasts still present. What was here before? And before the before? And where did the grass come from? And how do they keep it so short?
